Who We Are
Welcome
To Glorify God, follow Christ and share the Good News.
On July 9, 2023, SIMC met for our first worship service, at The Chapel at Salt Creek, Benton, Arkansas.
We are a Christ-led church, based on the teachings of John Wesley, considered by many to be the Father of the Methodist Church. SIMC was established in order to follow God’s inerrant Word, to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to reach out in mission to those in need. We are a congregational-involved church, where every person matters.
With the Blessings of our Lord and Savior we moved into our new home at 306 South Main in Benton, AR on May 12, 2024.
Our Mission

Our Faith Statement
To The Trinity:
We believe in the One True and Living God, eternally existing in the form of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; (Col 1:15-17; John 14:9-11, 26; Phillip 2:5-6; John 10:30; Isa 11:2; 1 John 2:23); that Jesus was fully human and fully God (Romans 8:3; 1 John 1:1; Hebrews 2:14; John 1:14; 1 Timothy 3:16)
To Holy Scriptures:
We believe in the One True and Living God, eternally existing in the form of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; (Col 1:15-17; John 14:9-11, 26; Phillip 2:5-6; John 10:30; Isa 11:2; 1 John 2:23); that Jesus was fully human and fully God (Romans 8:3; 1 John 1:1; Hebrews 2:14; John 1:14; 1 Timothy 3:16).
Virgin Birth:
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23), and entered this world without sin (II Corinthians 5:21); that He lived a sinless life.
Salvation Through Grace:
We believe that Jesus came to save the lost, that He gave His life as a perfect, Holy, and living sacrifice to pay the sin debt of the world, so that all who believe can be saved from eternal death, that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and on the third day was resurrected by God. (1 Peter 1: 18-19) …that He now sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. (Hebrews 10:12).
We believe that the Grace of God touches all those who repent of their sins, and they are restored to God’s favor and gain the assurance of their salvation through their faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 8:12-16).
Sacraments – Baptism:
We believe in baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Baptism is an act of obedience and a statement of faith on the part of the one being baptized. (Matthew 28:19; Methodist Hymnal Service of Baptism).
Sacraments – Holy Communion:
We believe that God’s table is open to everyone who professes Jesus Christ as his Savior; that the bread and wine represent the Body & Blood of our Savior, which was shed for us for our redemption; that the elements should be received with humility and with a proper spirit and faith.
Sacraments – Marriage:
We believe that God created each person as male or female ((Genesis 1:27); that marriage is between a man and a woman, as God commanded us. (Genesis 2:24).
Outreach:
We believe that God created each person as male or female ((Genesis 1:27); that marriage is between a man and a woman, as God commanded us. (Genesis 2:24).
